APAC Payroll Analyst

Job Responsibilities
- Manage in-country payroll vendors in APAC, ensuring payrolls are accurate, on-time and compliant with tax and regulatory requirements
- Support and partner with stakeholders across multiple regions (HR, Global Mobility, Legal, Finance) to ensure all deliverables are met
- Manage and process payroll in line with SOX requirements
- Drive improvements in payroll processing and work on payroll related projects as needed
- Complete employer obligations around tax filing and other regulatory reporting
- Lead Tax Year-end activities to meet regulatory timelines and support all audit requirements
- Serve as a point of contact for APAC payroll-related inquiries from employees, payroll vendor, internal and external stakeholders in a professional and timely manner and with outstanding customer service
- Be committed to high standards of compliance, deadlines and results
Required Qualifications, Capabilities And Skills
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in payroll operations, processing multi-country payrolls within APAC, India payroll experience is a must
- Solid knowledge of payroll and compensation (salary, taxes, pension etc) and statutory requirements for countries in APAC
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English is a must) with the ability to convey complex information clearly to all levels
- Demonstrated strong integrity with sound judgment and ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
- Proven ability to escalate issues in a timely and effective manner
- Experience working with outsourced payroll and in-country payroll vendors
- Strong organizational skills including the ability to priorities tasks, follow-up, time management and high attention to detail
- Strong calculation, analytical and critical thinking skills
- Be open to flexible working approach to ensure maximum efficiency and collaboration across different time zones
- Be willing to travel internationally as required
- Proficient with Microsoft and Google suite of products
