Data Analyst and Developer

Key responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain leading-edge analytics systems, taking complicated problems and building simple frameworks
- Identify trends and opportunities for growth through analysis of complex datasets
- Evaluate organizational methods and provide source-to-target mappings and information-model specification documents for datasets
- Create best-practice reports based on data mining, analysis, and visualization
- Evaluate internal systems for efficiency, problems, and inaccuracies, and develop and maintain protocols for handling, processing, and cleaning data
- Work directly with managers and users to gather requirements, provide status updates, and build relationships
- Creation of and training of LLMs to help generate financial/qualitative analysis for internal and external consumption.
Requirements
- Experience mining data as a Data Analyst (2+ Years)
- Proven analytical skills, including mining, evaluation, and visualization
- Technical writing experience in relevant areas, including queries, reports, and presentations
- Strong SQL or Excel skills, with aptitude for learning other analytics tools, strong understanding of financial terms, valuations, balance sheet, etc
- Ability to understand insurance terms and financials across a variety of geographies and put those into global context
- Proficient in building financial models
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate and express views and opinions clearly and definitively.
- Attention to detail and accuracy and diligence in ensuring high quality research output.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in finance, data/analytics, mathematics, computer science, economics, or statistics w/ data development skills
- Should be open to traveling to other countries, with an expected travel requirement of 0-10%.
