Senior Financial Analyst/Sales Compensation - Edina, Minnesota

Main Areas of Responsibilities
- Participate in the development, implementation, and communication of the new Sales Compensation program each fiscal year
- Own the monthly commissions payment process and serve as a point of contact on commissions related issues for the sales team
- Configure and ensure Xactly commission calculations align with Guidewire plan specifications and are accurate
- Own onboarding new hires, promotions and terminations in Xactly
- Prepare reconciliation, accrual, capitalization and payment files for on-time commission processing within the close period and process adjustments when necessary
- Ensure internal controls are followed and provide support for applicable audits of processes, calculations and payments
- Create and maintain procedure documents needed to effectively manage compensation tasks
- Build relationships with Sales, Sales Ops and Finance to encourage continual process and systems improvements to increase workflow proficiency
- Partner with Sales and Marketing business leaders to facilitate the annual budget process and drive accurate monthly forecasts thereafter
- Promote financial discipline and accountability around hiring and procurement decisions by tracking new hires and purchase requisitions against the budget, and preparing reporting packages for executives
- Perform forecast vs actual variance analyses for revenue and expenses to ensure general ledger accuracy during monthly close processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field3-5 years of experience in Finance. Sales Ops or Sales Compensation field; knowledge or focus on Sales and Marketing strongly preferred
- Detail-oriented with strong critical thinking, problem solving, and analytical skills
- Proficiency with Excel and/or Google Sheets
- Experience working with Xactly or similar comp planning tool; other financial planning SaaS software experience (i.e. Adaptive Insights) a plus
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
