The Opportunity:

As Employee Engagement & Communications Intern, you will be responsible for supporting the Senior Manager of Communications and Employee Engagement to help maintain and create an incredible employee experience for our corporate audience. Not only will you assist in executing our events, but you will be able to support writing communications that reach almost 3,500 of our Guidewire employees! 

During your internship:

  • Work with the internal communications team to learn how to maintain, manage, and create intranet site content including documents, videos, photos, and other related media
  • Support the upgrade of the intranet platform, including assisting teams with content management tasks before and after content migration.
  • Assist in drafting and editing internal announcements and updates.
  • Capture recaps and analyses that measure ROI on events
  • Draft, edit, and publish news content on our internal intranet 
  • Demonstrate our Guidewire values: Rationality, Collegiality,

Qualifications:

  • On track to complete an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited institution in 2023 or 2024 which includes studies within communications, PR, journalism, graphic communications or a related field
  • Excellent writing and communications skills (creativity welcome!)
  • Experience with web and digital content publishing platforms such as SharePoint, Word Press, or similar
  • Skilled with Google Suite or collaboration software (e.g., Smartsheet, LumApps, Box). Adobe Suite knowledge and experience are a plus
  • Passion for people and employee experience

Salary Information

Salary Range: $20 - $23 per hour

The US base hourly range is $20-$23. Our hourly ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for interns for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits.
