We are looking for a star performer to join our team as Vice President, Product Marketing to play a pivotal role in ensuring we’re positioned as the clear choice for P&C insurers. You will lead a team of PMM professionals to craft world-class positioning, messaging, content, and competitive analysis and be a key spokesperson for the company at events, in briefings with industry analysts and in sales cycles.  You'll roll up your sleeves and work hand in hand with our CMO, CPDO, our Product leaders, and Sales leadership. 

Responsibilities

    Provide world-class deliverables to ensure we differentiate Guidewire in market and equip sales team to win. Key deliverables include: 

    - Product positioning and messaging for all Guidewire portfolio  

    - Web content 

    - Sales collateral 

    - Content to enable sales team 

    - Product naming 

    - Delivery of content to enable sales and measurement of effectiveness  

    - Delivery of content and spokesperson for analyst relations  

    - Competitive positioning 

    Provide voice of market influence to: 

    -Product roadmap 

    -Product strategy 

    -Product bookings and ARR performance 

    -Pricing and packaging 

    Serve as exemplar and mentor to PMM team in craft of product marketing, thereby investing in advancing team members’ impact and career development. 

    Oversee operations of PMM team with 3 direct reports and 14 FTE  

Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience leading a product marketing team in B2B software environment and regularly interfacing with senior executives. 
  • Experience creating and leading high performing global teams. 
  • Demonstrated expertise and success in developing compelling product and solution messaging that delivers clear benefits and differentiation. 
  • Strong writing skills, analytical acumen, data and content synthesis for presentation, education, and reporting. 
  • Customer service focus, with advanced listening, influencing, and leadership capacity with particular focus on leaders who employ empathy for employees, partners, and stakeholders. 
  • Experience working in a rapid growth software, cloud technology, or SaaS companies strongly preferred.  P&C insurance is not a requirement. 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including creative written content, and giving presentations to large audiences at conferences/seminars.
