What you'll be doing:
The Content Management Intern will work closely with the Senior Product Marketing Manager / Developer Evangelist to align on content strategy and work with contributors from various teams to produce meaningful content on developer.guidewire.com that results in increased site traffic and engagement from our developer audience. 

The Content Management Intern will be responsible for shepherding content projects for our Developer site, developer.guidewire.com, from inception through publishing and promoting. This includes leading project management meetings with project stakeholders and contributors to ensure milestones are being met and deliverables are completed on time; copyediting and rewriting content where needed; finding relevant images; and helping create social media posts and a monthly newsletter to promote new and existing content.  

The Content Management Intern must be organized and process-oriented, be a strong writer, and be adept at keeping multiple projects moving at the same time. This role will also be comfortable with experimentation to find opportunities for improving our content and processes. 

Responsibilities:

  • Developer site landing pages
  • Help create 1-2 new landing pages to promote products and features
  • Work with contributors and stakeholders to solicit copy and image assets
  • Write copy where necessary
  • Apply marketing best practices to ensure powerful messaging and conversion-oriented landing pages
  • Developer blog pipeline
  • Publish 2-3 blog posts per month
  • Work directly with contributors to ensure on-time delivery of blog posts
  • Copyedit and refine posts to move them from the first draft to ready-to-publish
  • Experiment with AI tools to help streamline our content creation efforts
  • Procure images that are topically relevant and engaging 
  • Work with our marketing team to promote new and evergreen blog posts via social media
  • Developer Newsletter
  • Write monthly newsletter outlines & drafts
  • Use a design template to help create section headers for newsletter
  • Assemble the newsletter in Jeto and prepare it to send
  • Must be College Junior or Senior
