VP, Guidewire Analytics – Global Client Solutions

We are searching for a passionate, results-oriented leader with a strong customer focus and incredibly high standards of quality. You will be a member of the senior Analytics leadership team – responsibility focused on customer success; business advisory service delivery; lead team of underwriting, data analytics and actuarial domain specialists; and develop capabilities within the teams. This role reports to the Chief Innovation Officer at Guidewire.

 Guidewire’s Analytics group helps the property & casualty (P&C) industry to utilize insurance data, both internal and external, for rating and operations, as well as for newer evolving risks like Cyber. By combining internet-scale data listening, adaptive machine leaning, and insurance risk modeling, our Analytics solutions provide insights and analytical capabilities that enable our customers take advantage of new opportunities, accurately price exposures, and get the most out of their operations and service processes.

What is expected:

  • Lead the Center of Expertise, Client Engagement Leaders, and Solution Architect teams (total headcount ~25). The Global Client Solutions leader will ensure we understand our clients business goals and execute on a plan to demonstrate Analytics solutions to achieve success. These teams have client account management, underwriting, actuarial, modeling, data science, engineering, and cyber security expertise.
  • Build and lead post-sale client relationship strategies to maximize product expansion opportunities and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Manage the team’s contract renewals and updates.
  • Support the Sales team.
  • Develop relationships with customers at all levels of the organization (C-level to program leads).
  • Develop thought leadership content and represent the Company at conferences, industry meetings, user groups and other venues.
  • Develop training and enablement content and methodology for clients globally.
  • Participate as a member of the Analytics Leadership Team to ensure our strategic objectives are met.
  • Responsible for working with Product Management and Engineering to articulate client and market needs and support the prioritizing of Product initiatives.

  • Represent the Analytics value proposition in the Guidewire senior leadership strategy working group.

What you would need to succeed:

  • Ability to lead and manage a team of Client Engagement Leaders to ensure a successful and consistent customer value delivery.
  • Meet with customers and prospects to develop perspectives on overall Analytics market development and driven dynamics.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Solution Consulting, Corporate Marketing and Product Marketing teams to refine messaging and client engagement plans to respond to external dynamics.
  • Work with the broader Analytics team on thought-leadership and reputation building content, and presentation.
  • Detailed understanding of enterprise account management and customer success
  • Ability to understand customer trends and business drivers and work with Product Management/Engineering to develop industry leading solutions that respond to those needs.
  • Basic knowledge of cyber security issues.
  • Experience with capital modeling and Enterprise Risk Management for insurers.
  • Minimum 15+years experience in the P&C Industry with a strong awareness of commercial insurance, predictive models, data & analytics, modeling and cyber risk.
  • Travel: 20- 50%.post covid
