What You Will Do
As a Business Partner you will support the Director, People Business Partner in delivering talent management activities, employee relations support, and performance management solutions across Guidewires Product Development, Cloud Operations and Analytics & Data Services functions – are largest client group.
In partnership with the Director, People Business Partner you will help to facilitate and/or execute the following talent management activities throughout the year:
· Quarterly Talent Reviews (Nine-Box); identifying performance/potential/impact of loss
· Quarterly Merit, Market, or Promotional adjustments
· Succession Management Planning
· Culture Survey Action Planning
· Internal movement of team members across the client group
· Manager and Employee Training
· Workforce Planning
· Offboarding needs

You are the first point of contact to our manager & employee community. While working in a COE environment as a critical partner to our COEs (Recruiting, DEI, Employee Experience, Learning & Development, Talent Rewards & Compensation, etc.). You ensure their programs and practices are supported, understood, and adopted by your client groups.

You will directly be accountable to complete talent management activities, employee relations and performance management support for frontline and mid-management across your client group.

In supporting the Director, People Business Partner you will be consistently sharing client group needs, talent management concerns, you observe with them.

Your Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years in a role(s) where you were:
  • Accountable to provide all levels of the “HR Stack” – strategic, operational, and tactical with a low-level of oversight
  • Either supported or facilitated common talent management activities – as mentioned above in previous role(s)
  • Lead or supported internal investigations, employee relations, performance management, disability/FMLA, compensation analysis, etc.
  • Managed high-volume of manager coaching, feedback, and employee conflict
  • You have experience working in a remote team environment while supporting client groups remotely
  • Bonus:
  • You have been the first point of HR contact for a large client group (500+)
  • Experience supporting a Product, Engineering and / or Data Science organization
  • Experience supporting a client group that is transitioning to the Cloud
  • Workday or Formsite experience
  • Excel expert
  • PHR or SHRM-CP Certificatition
