Communications Coordinator (Contractor Role)

What we are looking for in a Communications Coordinator (Contractor Role):

 Guidewire Software’s People team is in search of a six-month temporary contract Communications Coordinator, to work virtually or, in their San Mateo, CA office. Even though this is an entry level position, this person will be the spokesperson and communications lead on survey narrative and creation, survey tally of former + live initiatives and assist in partnering in communications efforts.

 

The candidate should be curious with the stamina to take on several metric development projects and is able to build a story based on the intricate parts of the data.

 

What your day-to-day could look like:

·        Work alongside the Internal Communications + Engagement team, to create metric stories, pull together past metrics to build a use case/next steps

· Managing and optimizing workflows around media coverage; analyzing coverage and reporting for internal teams

· Take notes during cross-functional teams on blog posts, AMA’s, Company Meetings, podcasts, and launch materials

·        Assist with internal communication projects such as sending Outlook email notifications

·        Provide continuous engagement metrics on current survey results

·        Support HR Ops and Internal Communications with team program logistics, events and projects as needed

 

Qualifications:

·        Basic knowledge of Communications processes and best practices

·        Experience with SurveyMonkey + Culture IQ survey tools

·        1-2 years of experience with analyzing and processing new employee brand engagement metrics

·        1-2 years of experience in background screening

·        Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

·        Understands the need for confidentiality when managing sensitive information/data

·        Ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines

·        Organized with keen attention to detail

·        Proficient in Microsoft Office programs

·        Understanding of survey tool sets and how to pull data / metrics

·        Record + editing knowledge for blog and podcasts would be a nice to have!

 

Requirements:

 

· Bachelor's degree in Communications, Writing, Journalism or related field

·       Minimum 2-3 years of relevant HR coordination + new hire engagement experience

·       Undergraduate degree in Human Resources or related major
