Global Security Operations Specialist- San Mateo, CA

Guidewire Software’s Global Physical Security team is looking for a Global Security Operations Specialist who will be responsible for the day to day security operations of Guidewire’s offices and events. This position will report to the Global Facilities Security Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day to day security operations and contract guard force
  • Colleague and vendor relationship management through ticketing system, emails and messaging applications
  • Conduct policy and standards compliance checks and enforcement (Internal, State, Federal and other International regulations)
  • Partner with HR, Legal and Facilities to resolve safety and security incidents
  • Design and manage world class enterprise wide safety and security programs
  • Assist with creating policies and procedures as they relate to safety and security
  • Maintain and track statistics
  • Conduct investigations using internal systems and interviews
  • Ability to see long term vision of safety and security strategy and programs
  • Manage and work with security vendors

Basic Qualifications:

  • Three to five years of experience managing contract guard services, event security management, environmental health & safety, security program implementation and emergency management
  • Experience managing people and processes
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally
  • Availability to support after hours as needed
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong background in event security management
  • End-user experience with AMAG Symmetry and Avigilon ACC
  • APP or CPP certification
